In this photo walk you'll see, among other things: Musical talent! Geese! Cute kids! Me trying to convince a nun to let me take her photo! All this and more before 8 am. Not a bad way to begin the day. I got some exercise in as well!
It was roughly an hour walk. I started on the east side of Manhattan, walked west until I got to Lexington avenue, then north until I arrived at work.
For those who are interested: the hyperlapse video was recorded with a GoPro Hero 7 action camera. It was mounted on my backpack's right shoulder strap. The still images in this video were taken with my Nikon D7500 camera using a Nikon DX 35mm/1.8 prime lens.
From an editing standpoint, this was my least frustrating video to produce. Having done a number of them now has made the process much easier. I have a clearer picture of how to organize all the different elements needed for each video. I've also developed an editing workflow that is simple yet effective. If you're interested in learning more let me know! I'll put together a separate post to do just that.
In the meantime, enjoy the video!
